ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jaimie! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Serenity Mind & Wellness.
I know life doesn’t always slow down when we need It to. Sometimes we spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we forget to check in with ourselves. Therapy is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and give yourself the same care and compassion you so freely give to others.
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. Together, we’ll work through life’s challenges while building the insight, confidence, and tools to help you move forward.
I work with adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, life transitions, and the everyday responsibilities that can feel overwhelming. I also provide culturally responsive care for BIPOC individuals, recognizing the unique ways culture, identity, and lived experiences can shape our mental health and healing.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help you better understand yourself, strengthen healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing isn’t about being perfect—It’s about making progress and learning to care for yourself with the same compassion you offer others.
Before opening Serenity Mind & Wellness, I spent several years in various settings: community mental health, hospitals, early intervention, and juvenile detention, supporting individuals through a wide range of life’s challenges. Those experiences continue to shape the way I show up for my clients—with empathy, authenticity, and a genuine belief, that healing looks different for everyone.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me spending time with family and friends, trying a new restaurant (I never say no to a great steak dinner or seafood!), or catching up on the latest season of Survivor. I believe that making room for joy, connection, and the things that fill our cup are an important part of overall wellbeing.
Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning after some time away, I’m happy you’re here. I look forward to supporting you as you take this next step toward healing and growth.
